ABOUT KAGAMI
I’m Gilles, and I started cutting hair around four years ago. Over the past years, hairdressing became something I truly wanted to dedicate myself to, refining both technique and creative vision every day.
At KAGAMI, the experience is built on empathy, creativity, and attention to detail. A quiet, focused approach in a calm space where your perspective comes first.
The name “Kagami” means mirror in Japanese. In traditional Japanese shrines, a mirror is often placed behind the altar, reflecting the person standing before it. One interpretation of the word connects ga (ego) and kami (god or divine spirit): when the ego falls away, what remains is a clearer, more honest reflection of yourself.
That philosophy inspires the atmosphere at KAGAMI: honest reflection, individuality, and self-expression. By combining technical precision with a creative eye, the goal is more than a clean cut or sharp fade. It’s creating a style that genuinely feels like you.
